When “I Can’t Give You Anything But Love” is first performed in the musical revue “Delmar’s Revels,” the number is a flop and is pulled after one show. It later became a hit, and was featured in "Blackbirds of 1928".

In celebration of the new book by Alyn Shipton, "I Feel A Song Coming On" the biography of Jimmy McHugh, there was a book signing at Barnes & Noble in New York. Festivities included interviews with the books author, Alyn Shipton, grandson Jim McHugh III, performances by Westla Whitfield, and John Proulx.
